Physical yoga influences the whole body beneficially. The blood circulation increases, glands are stimulated which balances the hormonal system. Joints and muscles become supple and strong, inner organs are massaged. Physical yoga is very good for our health.
When the body relaxes, we feel better. So the exercises are great for our mental well-being too. Doing yoga regularly is moving towards harmony.
In our classes we do gentle movements to warm the body up, more dynamic movements, such as sun salutation, and the classical poses where you hold the body still – in advanced yoga maybe up to 10 minutes in the pose!
